Message Nah Aliaz...

The optical unit ffailed on the OEM one I bought, it's bearings were still in great shape.

The first reman I had, the inner bearing failed.

The reman I have now, the back bearing has been replaced, but when you split the case it is obvious that the outer, or front bearing was not when it was remanufactured cause it spins free and is a little noisy.

The timing belt is fine, and I can go to the garage right now, and switch them, and if I put the reman back in, it will get the timing right at about 60% (10% off of dead center) counterclockwise.

Like I said, when I pull them both apart and look at the wheels side by side, it is obvious that the new manufacture CAS was misaligned when it was put together. If I line up the smallest "Fire" gaps in the wheels, the guide dowel flat surface is about half a tooth off between them. It's hard to count those slots on the outer edge of the wheel, but it is at least 10 slots off from the stock reman.
